Earthquake Orientation and Drill conducted at factories of Jawalakhel Group of Industries in Chitwan and Birgunj
NSET team from Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Response (DPER) has completed three different earthquake orientations and drills at different factories of Jawalakhel Group of Industries in Chitwan and Birgunj. This is a One-Day program with pre-visit to the facilities. The first orientation was held at Rolling River Distillers Private Limited, Chitwan on August 11, 2016 where there were 35 participants; 16 female participants and 19 male participants. That comprised of junior level workforce to senior of the organization.
Two more orientations held in Birgunj. An Orientation program held on August 14, 2016 at Himalayan Distillery Limited, Birgunj. There were altogether 90 participants during the orientation and drill program.
The last orientation conducted on Aug 15, 2016 for Asian Distillery Pvt Ltd, Birgunj. The program was held at the factory premises where there were above 250 participants. Mr. Uday Bista, Factory Manager then had briefed on usefulness and the importance of the training that they received.
NSET team completed the series with active involvement of participants from the distilleries under Jawalakhel Group of industries.
