The Program:
SET assisted SEEDS India, New Delhi to implement the Patanka Navajeevan Yojana (PNY) – a post earthquake reconstruction project for GSDMA in the village of Patanka, Patana District, Gujarat, India (1998 – 1999). The Technical Assistance, called NGMET, involved Nepalese Masons, trained by NSET in earthquake-resistant construction, imparting hands-on training to their Gujrati counterpart masons, in ways of improving construction quality and practice.
