The DPRR Division leads NSET’s initiatives on preparedness, response, and recovery, ensuring coordinated and effective disaster management. Its objectives include enhancing preparedness through awareness programs, building capacity at all levels for emergency response and reconstruction, and developing or updating relevant guidelines and plans. The Division also plays a pivotal role in facilitating knowledge exchange and supporting post-disaster recovery initiatives. It functions through two key units: Awareness, Preparedness and Capacity Enhancement (APC), and Response, Recovery and Reconstruction (3R).
