Earthquake Resistant Building Construction Training for the Masons and Contractors of Bhadrapur Municipality
32 Masons and petty contractors from Bhadrapur municipality are now trained on Earthquake Resistant Building Construction. A 5 day training program on ‘Earthquake Resistant Building Construction Training for Masons and Contractors’ was conducted in Bhadrapur municipality during 1-5 Dec. 2013. The training program was jointly organized by Bhadrapur Municipality and NSET as a part of the Building Code Implementation in Municipalities of Nepal (BCIPN) program of NSET.
Enumerators Training in Bhadrapur
Similarly another ‘Enumerators Training to Conduct Baseline Survey" was conducted for the enumerators of the Bhadrapur Municipality during 6-7 December 2013 at the Bhadrapur Municipality Training Hall, Bhadrapur. A total of 14 enumerators from Bhadrapur Municipality were trained on conducting the baseline survey which included risk perception survey. The enumerators after receiving the training were mobilized in the field for conducting the baseline surveys.
As a component of Monitoring and Evaluation plan for the Building Code Implementation Program in Municipalities of Nepal (BCIPN), Baseline Survey is being conducted in all the 24 program municipalities.
