Nepal Wood International Expo came to an end
Nepal Buildcon l Wood International Expo 2015 was held from 27th February to 1st March at Bhrikutimandap where National Society for Earthquake Technology- Nepal participated under the project Public Private Partnership for Earthquake Risk Manangement (3PERM). A stall was provided by Media Space Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (MSS) which is one of NSET’s partners in disseminating digital PSA on earthquake preparedness in 17 Sajha Yatayat buses and 70 micro buses as well as displaying e- posters in five outlets of Bhatbhateni Supermarket. The expo was organized by Media Space Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (MSS) in association with FUTUREX Group of India. More than 50 companies and brands from abroad along with many private companies of Nepal participated in the Expo. The expo was more focused in aspects of Architecture, Building, Construction and Engineering.
In the 3 days of exhibition, around 300 visitors visited the stall and interacted with the NSET professionals regarding preparedness and construction of Earthquake Resistant Buildings. Display materials and distribution publications were kept in the stall along with demonstrative models of structural and non- structural safety was kept in the stall. Despite the political protest outside the exhibition venue on the second day and heavy rain on the last day, there were a significant number of visitors to the NSET stall.
