Second series of MT accomplished at Khandbari
As a part of NSET's "Building Code Implementation Program in Municipalities of Nepal", second series of Mason Training (MT) has been accomplished at Khandbari Municipality of Sankhuwasabha District.
A five day training course for masons and contractors, jointly organized by NSET-Building Code Implementation Program in Municipalities of Nepal-BCIPN funded by USAID/OFDA and Khandbari Municipality completed on 11th April, 2016.
In the closing ceremony, Mr. Rishikesh Niraula, Chief Executive Officer of Khandbari Municipality committed to further enhance the skills of masons and to create the environment that each mason working around municipality feel motivated and encouraged to take training. He stated, 'Also municipality will proceed listing and licensing the trained masons soon.'
Along with 31 masons being trained at the second series total 63 trained masons are now working inside Khandbari Municipality.
