161 masons trained at Inaruwa Muni
5th series of Mason Training has been conducted at Eastern Region by NSET's Building Code Implementation Program in Municipalities of Nepal (BCIPN) team. In a five days mason training held at the premises of Inaruwa Municipality, Sunsari, 35 masons and contractors actively got participated.
Training to enhance the skill of masons and contractors in constructing earthquake resilient buildings with the code compliance completed on 12th April, 2016 where 161 masons have been trained till date. Training was jointly organized by Inaruwa Municipality and Building Code Implementation Program in Municipalities of Nepal.
At the closing ceremony of the program, Ram Charitra Mehta, Executive Officer of the municipality said, “Official licensing system for masons will start after 12 Baisakh, 2073 through a special program. I request the masons to apply their knowledge obtained in constructing housings rather just to get participated in the training."
