Community Volunteers from Lalitpur trained on Search and Rescue Operation
24 Community Volunteers from Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City, Ward No. 16 have got trained on Community Search and Rescue (CSAR) course conducted at Disaster Management Training Center of Armed Police Force (APF/DMTC), Kurintar during 10-12 March, 2017. The training course was jointly organized by National Society for Earthquake Technology – Nepal (NSET) and Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City with the technical support from the APF-DMTC under Grant for Global Sustainability (GGS) project. The course capacities individuals to perform light search and rescue activities at community level in case of disaster emergencies.
