Engineers training on ‘Earthquake Resistant Design and Construction of Buildings at Biratnagar
A total of 26 Engineers, Sub-engineers and Architects from Biratnagar Sub-Metropolitan city are now trained on Earthquake Resistant Design and Construction of building. A 3 day training course for engineers and sub engineers on ‘Earthquake Resistant Design and Construction of building’ was conducted in Biratnagar during 20-22Jan, 2014. The training program was jointly organized by Biratnagar Sub-metropolitan city and NSET as a part of the Building Code Implementation in Municipalities of Nepal (BCIPN) program of NSET and as a component of the month long 16th Earthquake Safety Day Celebrations in Biratnagar, Morang.
