9th Asian Conference on Earthquake Engineering (9ACEE)
The 9th Asia Conference on Earthquake Engineering, 9ACEE, will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal, during April 7 to 9, 2026. 8th ACEE held in Taipei in November 2022, decided to organize the 9th ACEE in Nepal and the National Society for Earthquake Technology Nepal to host the next event in Kathmandu. A follow up meeting in 2025 involving senior members of ACEE and NSET confirmed the general approach and theme for the event. The meeting emphasized that 9ACEE should reflect a clear Nepal flavor by showcasing Nepal’s progress, lessons learned, and ongoing efforts in earthquake engineering within the broader context of the Asia Pacific region.
