Students of Social Work trained on Earthquake Risk Perception Survey
Orientation program on Earthquake Safety
NSET conducted a half day orientation program on Earthquake safety for the students and teachers of Nepal School of Social Work/Kadambari College on 2 July 2014 at NSET office premise, Bhainsepati. The program covered Causes and Effects of Earthquake, Earthquake Risk Reduction, and, Earthquake Preparedness.
Enumerators Training on Earthquake Risk Perception Survey
The orientation program was followed by an Enumerators Training to Conduct Baseline Survey on the next day, 3 July 2014. The students of Kadambari College who gained the basic understanding on earthquake, earthquake risk reduction, preparedness through the orientation program were then trained on conducting the baseline survey which included risk perception survey. The students will perform the role of enumerators after receiving the training. Altogether 10 students were mobilized in the field (Sainbu VDC) for conducting the baseline surveys.
