Earthquake Risk Perception Survey in Bhojpur Municipality
Bhojpur- A week long Earthquake Risk Perception Survey is being carried in Bhojpur Municipality. This survey covers existing knowledge and perception towards earthquake preparedness among locals. Survey is being carried out in all 11 wards of Bhojpur Municipality and will be conducted till 3rd February 2016. The baseline survey is being undertaken by NSET- Nepal as part of Earthquake without Frontiers (EwF) Partnership.
The survey has been carrying out with close collaboration with Bhojpur Municipality. Field surveyors for the survey are taken from Bhojpur Municipality based on their past experience. The orientation regarding the Survey was conducted on 29th of January 2016. The survey has also aimed to give some message about earthquake during survey to the locals. The survey has been monitored, Research associate is actively involved in conducting survey at different wards Bhojpur Municipality. Survey Forms are being collected every day and the enumerators are also being monitored in the field during survey.
