Municipal Engineers and Sub Engineers trained in Damak on EQ Resistant Construction
A 7 days 'Training of Engineers and Sub-Engineers for Mason Training on Earthquake Resistant Building Construction' being conducted in Damak Municipality from 18-24 February 2016. Total 35 Engineers, Sub-Engineers and Sub-Overseers from 7 different Municipalities of Jhapa district, Kamalamai Municipality, Triyuga Municipality, Urlabari Municipality and Other VDC's located nearby Damak Municipality are participating in the training.
The training program has been jointly organized by Damak Municipality and NSET as a part of the Building Code Implementation in Municipalities of Nepal (BCIPN) program of NSET. This is the very first edition of this form of training in Damak Municipality.
