Mason Training at Birendranagar Municipality
As a part of NSET's Building Code Implementation Program in Municipalities of Nepal (BCIPN), a five days mason training is accomplished at Birendranagar Municipality. Training for local mason working inside Birendranagar Municipality area have been conducted during February 18-22, 2016.
Total 33 masons from the municipal area are trained on Earthquake Resistance Building Construction. This is the 5th mason training conducted in the municipality. Total 138 masons have been trained till the date.
This training program was jointly organized by Birendranagar Municipality, Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC) Division Office, Surkhet and National Society for Earthquake Technology Nepal (NSET).
