EQ. Orientation program held in Birendranagar Municipality
A half day Orientation Program on Earthquake Risk Management conducted in Birendranagar Municipality, Surkhet on February25, 2016. Participants were the local political leaders, tole representatives and social mobilizers from the ward no. 13,14,15,16 and 17. Altogether 43 participants took part in interactive program. The orientation covered the Earthquake Hazards and Vulnerabilities, Risk Reduction and preparedness measures. Also awareness materials distributed to the participants.
This program was organized by Birendranagar Municipality and NSET as a part of BCIPN, a USAID/OFDA funded program.
