BaliyoGhar accomplishes Fourth MT at Dolakha


34 more trained masons have been added at Bhimeshwor Municipality, Dolakha. After the successful completion of 3 Mason Trainings (MT) NSET's BaliyoGhar has accomplished fourth Mason Training on 10th May, 2016.

34 Local masons from different wards participated the Reinforced Concrete Mason Training Program, where thirty-one were males and three of them were females. The seven days training was conducted at the premises of the Municipality and was focused on enhancing the different techniques for earthquake resistant RC buildings.
 
The training was jointly organized by Department of Building Construction and Urban Development (DUDBC), Division Office, Dolakha, Bhimeshwor Municipality and National Society for Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET) with funding support from United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

After the training, one of the participants Ms. Ishwori Shrestha recommended to increase the number of female participants in Mason Training Program in the days to come. All the participants expressed their gratitude for organizing such fruitful training program and vowed to try build safer houses in coming days.

With the completion of Fourth Mason Training Program, the certificate distribution program was organized at Bhimeshwor Municipality. Representatives of Bhimeshwor Municipality, USAID and National Society for Earthquake Technology- Nepal (NSET) were present during the certificate distribution program.
