Nearly 1300 Sub-Engineers and Assistant Sub-Engineers trained on Housing Reconstruction
A Basic Training Course on Housing Reconstruction has been conducted to the massive number of Sub-Engineers and Assistant Sub-Engineers recently recruited by Nepal Government to deploy in earthquake most-hit districts.
National Reconstruction Authority, Center Level Project Implementation Unit, Ministry of Urban Development (CLPIU/MoUD) and Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC) are organizing this Training Course. National Society for Earthquake Technology – Nepal (NSET) is providing technical support to conduct the activity under USAID funded “Baliyo Ghar” program.
Total 1275 Sub-Engineers and Assistant Sub-Engineers participated in Day1 on May 24, 2016. Government has recruited nearly 1300 Sub-Engineers and Assistant Sub-Engineers to provide technical services in reconstruction processes.
