Baliyo Ghar accomplishes 7th Mason Training at Dhading
Baliyo Ghar program has accomplished 7th Mason Training at Nilkantha Municipality-2, Bhulbhulle Dhading. With this training 29 more trained masons have been added in Dhading district. BhulBhulle is one of the quake-most-affected area of Dhading district where 95% of total houses were flattened by April 25 disastrous tremor.
The masons from ward number 2 only participated in the Training, where they were trained to enhance the different techniques on “Earthquake Resistant Construction of Building”. Total 29 rural masons including one female and contractors working within municipality area were benefited from this 7 day training course.
After the completion of training, all the participants acknowledged Baliyo Ghar team and on the certificate distribution session, one of the participants, Sumsher Bahadur Gurung shared, “We not only express our deep gratitude to the organizers of this training but also support them by executing the knowledge what we have learnt in these 7 days”
Training was jointly organized by Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC) Division office Dhading, Nilkantha Municipality and NSET-BaliyoGhar with the funding support from United States Assistance for International Development (USAID).
