Building Damage Assessment Training
National Society for Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET) in association with Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC) organized a “Building Damage Assessment Training†to the engineers of Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC) from July 2-4, 2007 at DUDBC, Babarmahal, Kathmandu.
In the training experts from NSET shared their experience of Pakistan to the trainees and discussed on the need of planning, regulations and required methodologies for Nepal.
Such type of training is the first in Nepal and even in the region before the earthquake, and altogether 34 participants got benefited from the training.
