School Handover Ceremony held
School Handover Ceremony was held at Dangsing, Tarkeshwor Rural Municipality, Nuwakot on 27th August 2018.
The event saw the participation of more than 70 people including the newly elected rural municipality Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, ward members, parents, School Management Committee members and teachers.
The two room semi-permanent school block was constructed through technical support from NSET and financial support from Team Hyogo under the project 'Disaster Education from Hyogo in Nepal.'
During his remarks, the rural municipality Chairperson Mr. Ramesh Bahadur Wasti said that the construction of this new school block will increase the attendance of children from the community. Similarly, Ms. Tara Devi Rimal, the Vice Chairperson of Tarkeshwor rural municipality added that it is not only up to the elected members and teachers, the responsibility of ensuring quality education also goes to the parents and together, they all have to work towards the enhancement of quality education in their community with concerted efforts.
Mr. Mohan Singh Tamang, SMC Chairperson echoed the voice of the community saying that this new school block was a much needed requirement even for the normal functioning of the school. With much enthusiasm of the community members and students, the unveiling of the plaque was done by Mr. Wasti and Mr. Seiji Suwa from Team Hyogo.
